A LA CARTE REGULARIs our standard menu offered in the Main Dining Room.
SELECTION MENUClient selects a Group Menu and the options within each course to offer their guests; guests will then order on-site from a customized menu.
PRE-SET MENUClient selects a Group Menu and each course item to be served to all guests, or Client selects a Group Menu and the course options and provides all guest orders 3 days in advance.
CUSTOM MENUSWe are happy to collaborate and design custom menus for your group with our Executive Chef.
RECEPTION MENUSWe also offer an array of Appetizers and Reception Stations for Cocktail Style Events.

This space is the focal point of our main dining room experience. While this is typically where we seat dining guests, it can also be reserved exclusively for the use of large groups as semi-private.

Joe Muer was already a successful cigar producer in 1929 when he opened a small oyster bar in Detroit. As the eatery gained in popularity, Joe scaled back his cigar shop to expand the restaurant. It continued to grow & by the 1950's Joe Muer Seafood had become Detroit's premier dining destination & was renowned worldwide. Remaining an icon until closing in 1998.

In 2005, Joe Vicari, a successful restauranteur known for his fine dining restaurants across Michigan, had the idea to bring the beloved Joe Muer Seafood back to Detroit. After reaching out to Joe Muer III over several years, in 2011 Joe Muer Seafood Detroit picked up right where the original left off - serving the world's most celebrated & exclusive seafood across the globe.
